Choir
The Liturgical Choir has been in existence since 2004 and draws members from each year group from first to sixth year. Choir rehearses every Thursday in Saint Catherine’s Class Room with Ms Gaffney. Rehearsals take place after school for 45 minutes and all new members are most welcome. The choir specialises in Liturgical Music and performs throughout the school year at various important events and occasions.
Every year the Liturgical Choir sings at the ‘Opening of the School Year Mass’, the Christmas Carol Concert, Sunday Mass for Catholic Schools’ week and 6th year Graduation Mass. Members are always eager to try out and learn new and modern liturgical music and being a member of choir also offers students the possibility of developing new friendships with students who are in different class groups. All in all – a most positive and fulfilling experience!
