Open Day
DCW's annual Open Evening is on Wednesday 28th of September from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. All prospective students and their families are welcome. This is a fantastic opportunity for prospective students and their parents/guardians to visit Dominican College Wicklow, meet our students and staff.

6th Year Higher Options at the RDS
The DCW Leaving Cert Class of 2023 enjoyed their visit to the RDS in Dublin where they met up with around 150 universities, colleges and information bodies from Ireland, the EU and the UK.
The Higher Options event offers all students in Ireland the chance to discover the full range of further and higher-level study and training opportunities that are available to them on completing their Leaving Cert.

TY Archaeology
On Tuesday the 4th years had a visit from Mark and Marta to learn about archaeology. The girls saw some interesting artefacts and learned about the work of archaeologists. Tables full of historical items were set up outside Fatima Hall and students had the chance to ask questions and get a feel for life as an archaeologist.

TY Musical Fundraiser 2022
It's that time of year again. The TY's are currently fundraising for their annual show. On a date to be announced all those interested are asked to dress-up as something that begins with the first letter of your name. The cost to participate is €2 and all the proceeds go to support the production of the musical.

CBA information night for 2nd and 3rd years
Thank you to all the parents who came to the CBA information evening. It was great to see and talk to so many of our amazing girls' parents.

5th Year retreat
On Thursday Jigsaw’s One Good School was at DCW to talk to the 5th Years. Jigsaw’s One Good School™ is an initiative which supports the mental health and wellbeing of young people by developing a shared responsibility across the whole school community.

Homework Club
Homework Club will take place every Tuesday and Thursday at lunchtime in Joseph's 4. All 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students are welcome.

The first Cross Country event of the year is taking place next Tuesday the 27th of September in Avondale. We've had two trials seeing old and new faces showing off their speed and determination to get ready for the first event of the season. The journey begins again for Ava Martin, who represented the school at the All Ireland's last year. Hopefully this inspiration can drive on the whole team this year and make it a memorable year in School Athletics.

3rd Year Retreat
The An Tobar Retreat team was here on Thursday to facilitate the Third Year retreat. The group really enjoyed their day. There were plenty of activities and everyone left with something to think about!
